A girl once walked up to me at a party and said she'd like to paint me in the nude.  I replied "Aren't you afraid of getting paint on your breasts?"

noooo! I am quite modest. I really do not think anyone would want to see me in all my glory. I would be so nervous. would not be a good experience. some are fine doing that for an art class and good for them. cannot see myself there. they would have to draw me with a red face.

I guess I was lucky. We had about 4 or 5 models in my college drawing class. One guy, the rest good looking women, all students. I had a hard time getting my work done.

Payback for a fellow artist. She modeled for me several times.

Yup, Would do this...how much does it pay? hehe

If you take art seriously, you will view the naked human body, in terms of nude modeling, as a work of beauty no matter what age or shape the body is in.

Art is great, It's part of life, I love art very much in all forms, but some of these models.....YUCK! Some of the women are well into their 70's. Oh, well, I guess that's just age diversity, I guess and I guess it made me more accepting of people.

How else is the homosapian going to be represented by his/her natural state of being in an art form?

(Not me, but something I've seen) Yikes. Usually not a good thing. The first time I had a nude model come in for drawing class, me and my friend had missed the previous class so we had no idea what was in store that day. When an old man in a robe stood on the platform in the middle of the room and dropped his robe, we were horrified! I got used to it in my human figure class, but was again caught by surprise to learn that the one female model who dyed her hair purple . . . well, dyed ALL her hair purple. I've learned quite a few things from these experiences: 1) Guys who want to take classes to see nude models should reconsider--the models typically aren't women, and typically aren't attractive. 2) Sculpting tiny little phalluses is funny, no matter how many times you do it. 3) I appreciate my husband all the more.
