- Utilities were over their very low "cap" 6 months of the year, despite conservative power usage. Apparently, duing one July, my roommates and I racked up a $400 electricity bill, despite the AC set at 78.
- Never let me see a utility bill.
- Changed rates without notification.
- Personnel changed extremely frequently - seems like it was every 2 months I was talking to a different person.

But the worst of it came when I graduated. One of the personnel stationed at DeVry made us sign a 4-month lease, with an end date of 30 June. On 15 June, my roommates and I were informed that we must leave the apartment by 21 June. After several phone calls, they would not honor the signed lease. On 22 & 23 June, they removed all furniture from the apartment and turned off the electricity. I had to move out on the morning of 23 June with no place to go.

Fast forward 2 months. I have STILL NOT RECEIVED MY SECURITY DEPOSIT. They claim that I did not submit a notice to vacate, despite submitting one 2-3 months prior. They claim they found the apartment vacant on 19 June. The movers who work for RnR (one of the movers was one of the former personnel at DeVry) saw me there on 23 June. RnR claims I did not turn in my key. After a phone call to RnR corporate, I gave my key to one of the movers. I was then charged for changing the locks.

And then they send me a bill for the apartment cleaning. After stealing my deposit, taking months to give me an itemized list of charges, falsifying charges, losing paperwork then charging me for it, they SEND ME A BILL.

Within the next few weeks, I will be taking RnR to small claims court, and reporting them to the BBB.

They think that because they deal with students, I will roll over and take these fraudulent charges. I want my security deposit back, and I'm going to fight RnR until they return it.

They are horrible. They claim to care about clients but don't, they charge double for the units they sublet compared to the complex the units are in. My school is phasing them out. RnR just consolidated a bunch of units and left some people out on their bums, people that were under contract.
