My biggest gripe with college bookstores in general is the price of textbooks and supplies. While it is handy to have such things readily available to students without the need to drive off-campus and be late for class, charging double what Walgreens does on school supplies when Follett has similar buying power makes no sense to me. Also, if you can find the same textbook online and have the time to get it shipped before class, save yourself some money and skip Follett. If you don't, then at least know that Follett arranges with most colleges to accept Pell Grant vouchers and other financial aid without needing a ton of paperwork.
