The Maricopa Community Colleges collectively provide a good education for the money. They have lower class sizes and half the cost per credit of the universities, and their classes are taught mostly by highly competent professors with a majority of those having a Masters or better in their field, or a ton of practical working experience, in the case of more vocationally-oriented courses. No TA's trying to bs their way through a lecture session that has 100 students in it. Most classes I have taken have had 10 to 30 students. I have been able to sit down and get extra help from the instructor when needed, something I doubt I'll receive at the freshman and sophomore levels of a university. A great value in this field. The only deficiency is a lack of junior and senior-level courses, but that's not so bad. To save money on the first two years of your college experience and get a better education for it is reward enough.

Yeah, they do the trick. I am going to one of these right now and must agree with IJR.
