I've been going to Accounting Advantage for the last few years. Up until now they've been pretty good. Five months after having my taxes done they sent me an invoice for tax preparation which I had paid for in cash at the time of collecting my return. What kind of accountancy firm cannot maintain their own records and paid receipts? I'm now being told that if they cannot determine whether I paid I may need to locate my receipt and prove that I paid for their services.
