03/14/2002 | They always have a great article or so about something regarding history and its connection to today. The version I received yesterday had a cool story of a photographer in Alabama remembering Bobby Kennedy coming down to the poverty-stricken slums there to visit the deprived people there. It's a great American history magazine.

03/11/2002 | It is very interesting and entertaining. Even when it gets political (which it doesn't normally) it's still interesting to read and see the illustrations and photos. It's the kind of magazine you keep even after you're done reading it.

04/16/2001 | This is a pretty fantastic magazine. I have enough work-related reading to do that I can't read it regularly, but when visiting my folks it's always nice to snag their copy and browse through thoughtful articles on American history and culture.
