No, I don't support oil/gas exploration in Alaska. It's one of the last great wonders, and should be kept that way.

HELL NO! OH my gosh, this is like giving a marijuana field to a drug addict. AND IT IS NOT JUST AN ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUE!!!!! WE NEED TO DECREASE OUR DEPENDENCE ON OIL!!!!! IT IS ALSO AN ECONOMIC ISSUE!!!!!!THAT IS A FACT!!!! There is plenty of proof of global warming and if you don't believe it you are as close minded ad foolish as those who don't believe in God. But that isn't even the main issue. Oil is a non-renewable resource, it will eventually run out, and there is NOTHING we can do about that. THOSE ARE FACTS PEOPLE. We need to focus more on decreasing our dependence so that future generations aren't completely helpless when they run out and have NOTHING to run on, it would make the great depression look like a pay cut. Anyone who supports finding more oil for us to become dependent on and take focus on finding out what we are going to do WHEN we run out of oil has some serious prioritizing to do.

I oppose it. Oil and gas shouldn't be our way of life. Just recycle oil and gas and then we don't have to do these petty, meaningless explorations.

We certainly should open ANWR for epxloration. If you don't think we should, you probably believe fervently in global warming. Proof, please.

NO! It will not help greatly in oil, will take years to develop, oh yeah the environment. We have to find alternatives to oil.

oil is like crack, we can't get enough of it. at least if we drilled in the arctic, we would have our own supply and wouldn't be as dependent on opec.

No, I do not. It is so sad how people treat our environment. This is just one factor that could destroy our earth. Drilling for oil in the Alaskan Arctic Wildlife Refuge is just one of George W. Bush's oil obsessions. Also, did you know that the majority of our oxygen comes from the rain forests? It is predicted that at least by 2050, all the rain forests will be gone. What will we do then? Wear oxygen tanks everywhere?

Absolutely. It's there; might as well use it. I garauntee it wouldn't create half the mess liberals would have you believe.

This is such a short-term solution. The focus should be on alternative fuels. Even if we drill in Alaska, the global price of oil will still be dictated by the Middle East, as most of our allies in Asia rely 100% on Saudi Arabian oil.
