Really Dean Stockwell made this show, he was just so good and fun to watch. The stories were well written and interesting. One of my all time favorite shows.

Greatest of all sci-fi shows, the possibilites were endless, if there was justice in TV, it would still be running..

Quantum Leap had an original premise if nothing else. For the uninitiated, the concept of the series is a physicist (Dr. Samuel Sam Beckett played by Scott Bakula) who is working on a top secret government project researching time travel. Beckett becomes trapped in the past as he leaps from place to place, year to year, and into the bodies of different people (some famous or infamous). Forced to correct some wrong that occurred because of some prior mistake, Beckett's only link and aid from the present is his cohort Rear Admiral Albert Al Calavicci (played by Dean Stockwell) who communicates in the form of a hologram. The different situations in which Beckett is placed forces him and the viewer to face various ethical conflicts. While the series was fun and entertaining, the science fiction aspect of the show was not dominant as most of the stories were set in the past. Quantum Leap was originally broadcast from 1989 to 1993.
