Earth Shoes have probably been the cause of my achillles tendonopathy. If you are over 30 years old you should really think twice before you purchase any shoe with a negative heal. I am now under a podiatrist's care and recieving physical therapy and have to ice my achilles tendon area several times a day. I just don't know how to now get rid of these expensive shoes. I got a pair of Earth Vision shoes, and I love them. I don't understand the negative reviews... I work on my feet constantly, discovered Earth shoes by accident looking for something comfortable while visiting our local mall, and I couldn't be happier. The bottom of my feet no longer hurt after a full day, and my back is MUCH less sore that it ever has been before. It's so much easier to stand up straight with the negative heels - I'm amazed. But if you're skeptical, go to a local mall or Dicks Sporting Goods or get a pair from an online place (like Zappos) that will let you return them if you're unhappy. If you're going to like them, you'll know it the second you try them on. BTW, all Earth shoes have the negative heel, but some have higher arches than others. You may or may not have to try on a few pairs to find one with an arch that matches your own. But I recommend you check them out - the negative (lower than the rest of your foot) heels are unique, and I personally love them, but you can't know for sure yourself until you try!

Earth shoes? What the hell is that? Am I the only person here that never heard of that? Whatever it is, it sounds horrable.
