C'mon, it's not a bad isea and improved technology may make it better than real grass one day, plus, with water shortages and droughts here you don't waste water hydrating a natural turf. The sports goons, (sportswriters) made a big fuss about this anyway so they can sound pro jock, which they ain't.

Astroturf is artificial, but artificial isn't always bad just because it's artificial. Astroturf is bad because the level of injuries increases when playing on it.

More plastic stuff! I hate it (for the same basic reason I dislike polyester suits and vinyl siding). We're becoming too much of an artificial society.
