some of it can look good. especially covering an older house where the wood would cost more money to fix. it is not my first choice for a house. Rather paint than go this route. but the vinyl siding companies still are in business so there must be customers out there.

I think these reviewers would drown if it rained, their noses are so far in the air. I have nothing to do with the siding, but I know that everyone can't afford the top of the line.

For those too cheap to afford real siding for their house.

Yep Vinyl Siding is one of the worst ideas of the twentieth century alright. There are no advantages to this product whatsoever. Please visit the link to find out: http://fourseasonsroofingandsiding.com/the.truth.ab out.vinyl.siding.htm

Why is it that in this country we insist on coming up with rather novel ways to show our dim-wittedness? Vinyl siding (which I rank pretty close to aluminum siding) has its advantages, yeah. Doesn't need to be painted (normally), doesn't rot. Also, doesn't look particularly good (my opinion), tends to warp or buckle, tends to blow off in high winds, isn't a very good insulating material, looks like a larger edition of a Barbie house. I've had Europeans ask me seriously why we use this kind of stuff. Never could come up with a convincing answer. Has anyone noticed a link between telemarketers and this stuff?

So even if you don't live in a trailer, your home can look like you do.

Those who didn't keep up with the Joneses on this one are lucky. Good from a far, but far from good.
