Given that the Red Sox accepted next to nothing for trading one of the greatest ball players of all time, it does not surprise me that it took them nearly 85 years to win another World Series...

Selling him would have been ok if they would have gotten more than $100,000. If they could have gotten some decent money to stack the team with pitching, that would have been one thing. But to basically just hand over a superstar to your Rival Yankees for next to nothing is just plain stupid. That's all I can say.

What a great idea. Sell the best player in the game to finance a mediocre theatrical musical. I'm surprised Red Sox fans haven't dug up Harry Frazee's grave and thrown his bones in the harbour in retribution.
