I wonder if the guards had a snicker when they had to admit him into jail as they snapped their gloves on.

As a courtroom strategy, this certainly needed a little work. There's an old truism litigators live by, which goes "Don't ask any question to which you don't already know the answer."

Even worse: If the glove does not fit, you must not convict... What kind of judge and jury was this to buy such an argument?

The bigger mistake was giving OJ's defense team too much leeway to stack the jury in his favor. The glove incident was a huge tactical mistake, as it gave biased jurors an excuse to ignore compelling evidence and vote the way they wanted. Somehow I doubt OJ would have been convicted by that jury either way.

The worst idea was thinking it was a fair trial with Johnny Cochran involved and with a major majority of the jury being black! This is one of the most disgraceful court cases in history!!!Wish he could have been tried in Texas!!!

Oh, boy, does this bring back bad memories. Remember, Simpson dabbled in acting, so he used his limited thespian skills to pretend the glove didn't fit. I hate to think of that trial, and can't believe I watched it every day. It is just so frustrating seeing someone get away with murder.

Shot themselves in the foot repeatedly.

This should have been an open and shut case. Even though the prosecution did a mediocre job, they still had the case won because there was no denying the evidence. But then they had to try and seal the deal. Everyone knows that when leather gloves get wet they shrink. If I it rained on the day of a baseball game I would have to throw my batting gloves out because they would be way too tight the next day.
