I had GI Joe,who had a lot of really cool equipment,but my favorite action figure was a Viking,who also had some cool stuff like a long and short sword,a round shield,fur vest etc.Then there were the Pirates-smaller than GI Joe & the Vikings-but bigger than Action Jackson.We'd trade with each other if we liked our buddies stuff and got tired of our own.I also had a Big Jim with a motorcycle-who'd have guessed?!

action figures are cool to play with and to collect. he man action figures are highly collectible and keep going up. turtles are moving up. super heroes are fun and the variety is vast. most of them aren't worth much more than what they originally sold for due to mass production but you never know you might get lucky.

I never got into action figures. I had a GI Joe with a Jeep and I just always played with the Jeep.

I can see why boys would like these, but I always thought they looked like mean little mutants. I think the action figure parodies on ArchieMcPhee.com are pretty funny though and actually own two of them the Edgar Allen Poe and Shakespeare action figures. Im thinking about getting the Einstein soon with the realistic flowing gray hair.
