We never even bothered to beg for one as we knew it would never have been "Mom Approved" - mainly due to the possiblity of breaking our silly necks.  However, we did get a chance to jump on some a couple of times at a place that charged a fee and had a great time.  It was the closest thing to flying that I had ever experienced.

i was never coordinated to jump on one in the basic manner let alone do any tricks. i feel really lame

I have two uncles and one aunt who once were nationally competitive trampolinists. They'd never bragged about it, so it was quite a shock when they pulled out old movie film showing their multi-flip and twist finesse. The one trampoline in the family wasn't dusted off much, for fear that a kid would break his or her neck. But when I finally did get to bounce on one, it was as fun as can be.

I loved my trampoline. It was just the perfect size. I could jump like 7 feet high in the air. I remember in the winter I used to jump off into a pile os snow. then in the summer I had great fun putting my then puppy Golden Retriever on it!
