hi, i think mike is good for the reason, he gives melodie to his solo`s ,somthing worth listening to, somthing you can and want to rememeber, not like the 80`s lame styles.loads more to say. but keep playing mike your a great inspiration for others.

McCready is an amazing and under rated guitarist who is far far better than the likes of Jack White, Kurt Cobain and Dave Grohl, who shockingly often make these 'top 100 guitarist' lists above him. Just listen to Even Flow live and then tell me he isn't great.

Mike McCready is the most talented and underrated guitar player that has been around for a long time. I have been a fan for nearly 14 years and will be for the rest of my life. Seeing Mike and the rest of the guys play live in London & Hamilton Ontario last month was a dream come true and something I will NEVER forget. No band will ever compare with the enthusiasm, excitement and passion that each member in Pearl Jam displays. There is definitely a sense of brotherhood amongst the band, which they generously extend to us, making each fan a part of their family. Each and every song that they have ever done has been fantastic and their live shows sound exactly like their CD's. Every single member of Pearl Jam has their own great talent that they all contribute, but I firmly believe that Pearl Jam would not be what they are without Mike McCready. He is one of,(if not the) most innovative, creative, and gifted musicians on the planet!!. His contrubutions to Pearl Jam give them that extra edgy rock 'n roll sound that they would not be able to achieve without him. For example: Save You (one of the many Pearl Jam greats)is the result of his creative genius as he practically wrote it himself.I hope Mike understands how much his fans truly love him and know that he is in our prayers and thoughts as he struggles with crohns disease and wish him the most comfortable and smooth ride that life can offer him. Mike we love you and think the world of you and I cannot wait until I have the pleasure and honor of seeing you and the rest of the guys play live again. Once again....thank you for sharing your amazing talent with all of us....thank you for treating your fans like they are a part of your band...and thank you for giving me a reason to turn on my CD player everyday.
