A better actor than his co-star Ronald Reagan. I wonder how he'd have done in the Oval Office.

I saw this recently. It is actually a fairly good flick.

There is no question that fellow actor Ronald Reagan would outshine Bonzo in the years following their joint masterpiece, Bedtime for Bonzo.. But at the particular moment in time that the film came out, few would have argued that Bonzo was not a star in his own right. After all, the title of the movie leaves no question as to who the headline talent was. Bonzo was a fine actor, and in his own simian way, would play an important role in shaping American politics for the next 100 years.
