There were several of these, some pretty good, and some pretty awful. I remember reading a story about one of the later Tarzan movies where the chimp was so mean he ripped the face of the leading man open and had to be put down. I always like how Tarzan spoke English to Cheetah, whereas he spoke animalese to every other critter.
