My dog did not seem impressed when I brought these home. He sniffed and sniffed and turned his nose up. This isn't a reaction I like to see so I just left it out for him and it was still a no go. They don't have much of a smell so maybe that is why my dog was confused. Not sure, but I won't be buying these again.

denta bones do help some with the teeth but as another person stated they don't last long and I find them expensive.

I have 2 Cavalier puppies 6 mos and they go wild over Denta Bones. One is very fussy and enjoys hers heated in the microwave for 6 second. The girls go through these like water, but I must admit that one of them is getting quite heavy.

My dog goes NUTS for 'Denta Bones'! Even though she is 65 pounds, I give her the ones for small dogs, since I don't want her to put on too much weight. My vet told me that feeding too many Denta Bones can make her put on the pounds. She gets 2 small Denta Bones per week as a treat, and to help her clean her teeth.

My dogs really like them, and they're good for their teeth, but they don't last too long.

Lots of grain, I give it every few months when I happen to be in the pet isle in Walmart.
