He refuses to spend money on social programs to help the needy; he ignores human rights when it comes to foreign affairs; he refuses to give tax breaks to the poor and middle classes; he refuses to pass laws that help protect our wildlife and environment by oil drilling for his beloved oil tycoons from Texas. He's reversed everything that Clinton accomplished as president. ... That right there makes Bush an overly conservative commander in theif.

01/04/2005 | Unfortunately not true, at least in the economic sense. As enthusiastic a believer in big government as we have had in the white house. Seems to firmly believe that government can spend the country's resources more effectively than private enterprise - doesn't sound like any conservative I know.
