In my opinion Maureen O'Hara is the most underrated actress of her generation.
Her ability to convey strong emotions through her eyes and expressions is amazing. I admire her resilience, and strength of character.
So beautiful she could have spent her career as sex symbol, but instead she chose a career in challenging, dramatic, action packed films.
That is what I love about Maureen OHara

Beautiful but too tough!

Under-rated. Should have been nominated for an Oscar for The Quiet Man. Also loved her in The Parent Trap.

In my eyes the greatest actress ever, and the most beautiful too. She was at her very best when playing opposite John Wayne. She was great in How Green Was My Valley and still had the right stuff as John Candy's mother in Only The Lonely. There is no actress today that can compare.

I like Maureen O,Hara. She usually played strong women. who could take care of themselves. I liked the way she could stand up for herself {in her roles} without losing her femininity. She was good in Miracle on 34th Street, Parent Trap, and McClintock.I just saw her in a tv movie and she is just as good as ever.

A very powerful, versatile actress. She has retained her beauty even into her 70's. I think her best role may have been in The Quiet Man. Great sense of humor off-screen.

Just watched The Quiet Man the other night. She and John Wayne had a special chemistry. Lovely to look at and a fine actress.

Maureen is a gorgeous and tallented lady. She was in all sorts of films that got her awards and fame.

I've only seen her in Dance, Girl, Dance, but she was good in that.
