 | Chalky Studebaker (4) 01/18/2007 | I love Iggy Pop. He's a great showman but also a great songwriter. 'Lust for Life' is probably one of my all-time favorite albums.

Most of the fellow classic rockers that were contemporaries of Iggy got old, faded away, died, or became just another act relegated to classic rock radio or a novelty oldies circuit, but Iggy is almost 60 and still performing with the same impossibly high energy level and still coming up with new material. His work with the Stooges, like Raw Power is truly indespensible to the rock music canon.

 | loki13 (0) 03/20/2002 | Iggy can still f**cking rock even though he is as old as dirt. Almost as good now as when he was with the Stooges.

 | Potch1214 (0) 11/13/2001 | Rock's original wild man! The smeared peanut butter. The self mutilation on stage. The countless times of dropping his drawers (also on stage). Iggy is a wild man! Gotta love him.

 | ellajedlicka21 (6) 10/29/2001 | His Stooges were ok in their day. His shocking moment of cutting himself in the chest deeply is a disgusting yet interesting one.

 | Cobrakite (0) 05/09/2001 | I love Iggy Pop. I have always thought that Iggy Pop, David Bowie and Alice Cooper were the three best live acts in the business. Pop is a true pioneer of punk!
