It's so bad, that even Satan hates this film.

It's truly terrible, a silly film that is a stain on the careers of the talented Burton and Jones. And Nurse Ratched as well. Awful music in the film too. Surprisingly, I thought the third one with George C. Scott and Brad Dourif, while hardly a fine flick, wasn't really all that bad. Another ridiculous moment is when Jones roars like a lion. A LOATHSOME MOVIE.

Burton does his best to chew up the scenery, and I liked the scene with Burton and Linda Blair jumping on a bad as if on a trampoline! The special effects drive this down from a 5 to a 4, but otherwise, GOBBLE! GOBBLE! GOBBLE!

Hard to say whether this qualifies as worst movie of all time, but I'd definitely put it up there as one of the most thoroughly incomprehensible. At this late stage, all I can remember about it is Linda Blair sitting with some silly contraption on her head, locusts in Africa and Richard Burton intoning, "EVILLLLL!!!" Oh, he is so right! Except, he might have added, "BORRIINNGGG!!!" An absolute waste of time, money and talent. After sitting through this abomination, I could only scratch my head and wonder as I left the theatre, "What in the name of God were they thinking? Did someone in Hollywood actually think this crap was worthwhile?"

Usually those exorcists movies are not believable and you just see people making animal noises. Not really that scary. Besides, i don't want to watch a movie about a whole lot of demons possessing a person.
