It is a close race, but I would say that Rudy is the best sports movie of all time. It is also the best ending to any movie I've ever seen. This is one of those movies that, in the future, somebody will remake it, but it will either stink or won't be as good as the first.

hands down the greatest and most inspirational movie ive ever seen. speaking as a person whose goal is to go to notre dame, it makes me even more determined and excited to have a chance to attend

if you're looking to appear as though you have emotions in front of your girlfriend, pop this movie in one night. it's undoubtedly going to pull out a few tears, which will certainly score you sensitivity points. i've also teared up watching it by myself. i dunno, this movie turns me into a pansy.

Never liked this movie. Never really got into drama based movies anyway, and this film is way too dramatic for me.

Rocky with Football pads instead of Boxing gloves.....and it works. A nice little (true) story that comes off well, even though it's a bit of a stretch to believe at times. Another story about how hard work and how having a dream can come true.

It's a nice story, but it made me cringe with its sappiness a few too many times for me to enjoy it. My least favorite part of Rudy was when the dad is at the Notre Dame stadium and Rudy runs out on the field, and the dad says something along the lines this moment is the finest sight these poor eyes have ever seen... or something. I know it doesn't seem that bad, but the delivery was so stilted, so over the top, so sappy... that it all but ruined the movie for me. I guess I'm odd like that.

A perfect example of a dreadful pleasure. . .I wanted to hate it. . .I tried desperately to hate it. . .I know how corny the movie is. . .but I just can't give it less than 3-stars- an okay sports movie with a disney-esque message about giving your best effort. I'm ashamed of myself.

I thought the ending was incredibly anticlimactic. He goes on this huge journey, fights tooth and nail to get on the team, and finally FI-NA-LLY he gets sent out to play, and............he tackles some guy! Uh, wow. Yay...go Rudy?

Yeah, yeah, yeah it's a true story. Yeah yeah, yeah, it's a crappy movie.

One of the most inspirational movies I have ever seen. A wonderful story.
