Really a classic movie with some great acting, especially if your ever were a runner in track and field. Great plot and will never forget it and how it inspired me when I ran in highschool back in the day.

A shockingly underrated sports movie that explores the different motivations of athletes. If you can get past the goofy 80's music, it's a film that shows competition in a beautiful way. (My guy friends kill me for loving this film)

I love the opening scene of this movie where the guys are running on the beach with that famous song playing which I do not know the name of. Those who aren't familiar with track probably wouldn't fully understand the movie in a track sense ,but what I love about it is Eric Liddle gave up a gold medal because he acknowledged who he really runs for.....God. I feel the same way as Eric, when I line up on that starting line I know its for God whom I give the glory to because it is He who has blessed me with the ability to run.

what the hell are all you guys thinking... this movie shows the true heart of every true athlete. That is that it shows that money isnt the reason we should be competing...

Well made movie, although it bogs down in several places. Good performances and a decent script. Cinematography reaches exquisite in places.

Best track movie ever.
