 | texasyankee (22) 07/26/2005 | I didn't find this all that great and also a waste of my time watching it, even though there were several humorous parts, it wasn't something I would recommend to anyone.

 | souljunkie (21) 07/25/2005 | This is my number two to Rocky. No One played a better 'smart-ass' than Burt Reynolds in his day. And a surprising Eddie Albert was a surprisingly good asshole Warden. The idea that the lowly criminals of the world held something so sacred (Football) and in turn made the arrogant star remember what was important was the draw here. Great flick! I need to buy this one.

 | Michael C. (1) 05/01/2005 | A great 70's sports Movie.I expect the remake, due this Summer, will be VERY different from the original.Burt Reynolds ,leading a team of inmates in a Football game against prison guards, was very politically incorrect.

 | CanadaSucks (50) 03/04/2005 | Slick 70's production - it's pretty cynical stuff but still watchable. Love Ray Nitchke (sp?) as a guard. Football sequences were cool. Underrated sports movie surely to be sullied by a PC remake.

 | irishgit (155) 02/24/2005 | The best part of this is the game, which takes up the last half hour or so. Up until then it's a pretty standard prison movie with mediocre humour. The use of ex-pro and college ball-players was a nice, if somewhat obvious touch.
