I would dump even just a friend if they lied constantly. Lying is so unattractive and silly, and people who do it are kinda scary and psychotic. I can't stand people who lie...it is just so ridiculous. I don't lie and can't understand why someone else would want to especially those people who just lie to lie (like it wasn't to protect themselves or b/c they were embarrassed). Not that you should ever lie, I am just really confused by the lying just b/c thing. I actually recently meet a new person and was told that he is a pathological liar. Turns out to be true, and man is this guy obnoxious. Might have thought he was okay if he didn't feel the need to lie about anything and everything. You don't know what lying is until you meet a person like that.

People who constantly lie become pathological liers, so I will deffinately have a problem wuth trust.

big red flag. someone who always has to lie about stuff , I would be leary of. how could you trust them if you catch them in lies all of the time.no do not need that kind of headache.

I would not put up with someone who lied all the time. I hate lies. Why would I want to be involved with someone I couldn't trust?

Fatal. That some people allow relationships to continue in spite of repeated and habitual dishonesty is baffling to me.

As everyone before me has already written, a relationship must be built on the foundation of trust and honesty. Without that foundation, your relationship is doomed.

Yeah, a frequent liar doesn't really merit a date. For me, a relationship has to be built on trust. If that's not there, then the relationship can't go anywhere, so she gets cut. Little white lies that happen rarely are okay, but when you lie about big things, well then...

This is a good reason to not hang out with someone, much less date them! Especially if the lies are No, I swear I didn't kiss her, Oops, I forgot my wallet, No, the condom didn't break, I'm sure, stuff like that.
