Oh, you mean there are women who listen?



Yeah, I know there are, but they are the exception.....

It would piss me off if they never paid attention to what I was saying, or didnt care.

numbah talks and likes fellow talkers, so the value of listening is rather high for me.

I talk alot.  So you'd better be a good listener,I usually quiz later too.

I can't be with somebody with a shorter attention span than me.

Cant communicate with a bad listener...hes gone!

Maybe you just need to TALK REAL LOUD.

The bad listeners are usually very selfish and the ones that talk about themselves all the time. Can you say future communication problems.

It would just depend on why the person couldn't listen. Maybe they are distracted by their own problems at the time. Maybe they have ADHD (I think this might describe my own mother, seriously).

It can be that the person simply doesn't have a whole lot of patience to listen. Sometimes it can be just plain rudeness; if it becomes a pattern, I might just stop calling.

If he's not listening because he's distracted by how pretty you are (in which case, it's kind of adorable), then it's not so bad. If he's not listening because he's distracted by the waitress walking by, then you might want to not consider a second date.

I think this would be a really good reason to dump a guy. If he isn't paying attention to me, and especially when it is very important for him to pay attention to me...it would really piss me off. I LOATHE self absorbed guys...

When two people are in a relationship, not only are they lovers, but they are confidants. When one has a problem, they should be able to go to the other and expect their full and undivided attention, and a shoulder to cry on. Without this, a relationship cannot last.
