These things seem to have been around forever, so they obviously have a loyal customer base, but I've never been a fan of hard, gummy "candies". I can remember eating a lot of these (or maybe it was Jujubes) at a movie theatre when I was a small kid and becoming sick...whether because of the candy or something else I can't remember at this point in time...but it was a sickness that made such candies repulsive to me forever more. In fairness to Dots, I had the same reaction to liverwurst. As a kid, I ate a lot of it on one occasion, became sick, and just the smell of liverwurst can still nauseate me all these years later. There's not a lot of food I can't or won't eat (as my waistline will attest), but Dots and liverwurst are on the top of that "can't/won't eat" list.

Dots are good when in the mood for them. They're fun to buy at the theater.

Never liked these sugar jelly type candies. They always got stuck in my teeth to.

when you need to lose a filling

It always seems like a great idea to get these at the movie theatre because they're colorful and taste good, and they last a while. But you always get some stuck in the back of your teeth. You struggle with your tongue to get it out but you really have to strain and even then it doesn't always work. It pains me right now just to think about it.

Awesome, the Tropical ones are better.

Dots are extremely underrated, and I for one think it's a travesty that they're ranked below Mike & Ikes. All the flavors of dots are good. Give em a try!

i love dots. the flavor is wonderful especially the sour ones. one of my pastfavorite buys when having a sweet tooth and not too expensive either.

these candies have a delicious fruit flavor. They have a delicious soft chewy texture and are from tootsie, the same company that makes tootsie rolls.

Delicious and vegan, but a little too sticky.

Dots are the most plain, stupid, gummiest, sticky candy around.

Dots are one of my default sugar fixes but they ony deserve a 3 rating. Cheap flavor and they really like to get stuck in your teeth, almost to the point where it takes the fun out of eating them. 5 secs of enjoyment is not worth 30 secs of teeth picking.

Dots are possibly the worst candy in the world.

Dots... another candy with a funny name. They're chewy fruit-flavored candies, but not so sticky that they get stuck in your teeth. They come in lime, lemon, orange, strawberry, and the best, of course, cherry! The box even has a cute little "Dot Dispenser", making it easy to just pour out one at a time from the box. This is as good as fruit-flavored candy gets!
