10/12/2006 | I've only seen two of Richard Gere's films - Pretty Woman and First Knight, in which he played two very different characters, and I thought he was impressive in both.

10/12/2006 | His Dullard Factor is surpassed only by Kevin Costner and then only slightly. He just looks like a smirking lecher to me. Gere is someone with the unique ability to bore me and make my skin crawl at the same time.

02/09/2005 | What do people see in this guy, he plays the same character in just about every movie. He has little or no range and he's rarely convincing. His casting as Lancelot was horrible and he stuck out like a sore thumb.

11/24/2003 | There is just something creepy about this man. His characters are never very human, lack emotion and are portrayed cold and depthless. Even in romantic comedies that try deperately to give him some humor and heart, he fails miserably.

09/30/2003 | I have never been impressed with Gere. He's a solid actor but in no way is he the superstar so many think he is. He has been hanging on to his early 80s successes and somehow keeps himself in the limelight. Mortal Fear was his last decent movie and that wasn't due to Gere's talents...
