04/05/2006 | I don't know if David Arquette is a better wrestler (he can't sell any moves) than he is an actor (he isn't convincing in either comedic or dramatic roles). But in any case, David Arquette is horrible at both. I'm not saying he has no talent whatsoever. But any director who would turn to him as a potential member of his/her cast HAS to realize he/she is scraping the bottom of the barrel in trying to hire this dud.

02/10/2005 | He's not overrated, he's just not the best actor. The best thing he's ever done in his career was be the voice for Eddie in the video game, 'SSX Tricky'.

11/25/2003 | I don't mind David Arquette, I don't find him as irritating as most people do. He's not a very good actor, or a good comedian, but I don't see anyone calling him the genius of the century or anything, so I wouldn't say he's overrated. Overrated means that someone gets more recognition and accolades than they deserve. Arquette, if anything, is abused more than he deserves. But I wouldn't call him underrated either, because that would imply that he is talented but not recognized as such. This question is harder than I originally thought.

10/19/2003 | I used to like this guy. I thought that he gave some pretty modest performances in the Scream films, mainly because he was able to conceal his outright obnoxiousness. Then, he started making films like Ready to Rumble, See Spot Run and Eight Legged Freaks. To top that all off, I had to see him winning a wrestling championship. I'm sure he's a cool guy in real life (he'd have to be cool in order to be married to Courtney Cox), but as an actor, he sucks.

09/30/2003 | He's about as funny as an infected abscessed tooth. This guy gives Tom Green a run for his money for being one of the most irritating people alive. Carrot Top is pleasant and likeable compared to this loser.
