I'm glad. That is one fewer deer to dodge on the freeway. They should have thinned the herd a little more.

Handled with way more sensitivity and realism than the horrific graphic trampling of Mufasa in the Lion King. Bambi hears a shot in the distance and then his father comes and tells him that he is on his own. And instead of wallowing in guilt, shame and pity, low and behold the next thing you know, Bambi is a man and his life begins anew.

Emotional as a child, but certainly not something that troubles me now. It's just nature...

I never understood why everybody got all crazy about it.

Had me crying. My mother-in-law, at 5 years old, had to be taken out of the theater it bothered her so much.

Even as a kid, I didn't find this one too bad. It's nothing I've ever sobbed over, though it is sad and it makes you feel bad for poor little Bambi.

Overrated. I asked my mom to take me home to play videogames.

It didn't bother me. It's a Disney animated film, and although a good one, it's part of the story. Besides Disney is notorious for killing off parents.

I almost can't even watch this animated feature to this day due to that one scene. You can't get more basic or universal than this theme - the loss of someone who is most important in your life.

This tragic scene left a black mark in my fragile physche for years to come. If it was good enough to make my father run out of the cinema crying (when he was much younger of course then it's good enough for me. WHY GOD?! NOOOOOOO!!!

Oh man. When I was a kid, and I saw that part for the first time. I cried so much. I never liked to see anyone die, especially animals. It's still really sad, but I haven't seen the movie for years.
