I think it was moving in that all of his hope was gone then. The neighbor there was taking things the wrong way about him and it was hopeless. To be killed for something so stupid is terrible. Also his wife realizing that she really missed him was moving in a surprising way. It is the stuff of movies. I can see why someone might be a little fed up with the movie. I had put off seeing it.

Hmmm! I didn't know he croaked. I should watch it sometime.

It wasn't emotional I felt relieved for him. This was a man who was in a miserable marriage, lived in a miserable home, with a miserable daughter and a miserable job. In some peverse way he must have been glad to see the back of it all, no matter how tragic his death was.

Even though it was horrible and sad the way he died in this movie, I was just so happy the movie was over...awful movie...

I did not feel so moved when kevin Spacey's Character died at the end of American Beauty. This was an odd movie.I guess I was too busy looking closer at this movie to care what happened to him.
