This is a must have for any serious collector of TV miniseries. And it is one of the best ever made.

The story covers the arrival of the first white men to travel to the upper Platte River and is basically the fictionalized history of the State of Colorado and how the west was settled. I will not include any spoilers other than to say that the Conrad, Chamberlain, Burr and the other cast members have never better.
The VHS tape version is excellent and I have just purchaed the DVD version which I have not viewed yet. After all these years this series is still one of my personal favourites. I give Centennial the highest recommentation I can, 5/5 stars. Enjoy!
