I remember watching this when it came out in the late 70`s and having like it. I do remember that the series used Charlton Heston shamelessly in marketing this series, Chuck was not in all that much of it as I recall. However, The episode of the returning war hero (brad Davis, i think) was the highlight of this series for me. The portrayal of this sheriff as being more crooked then the bad guys he was supposed to control was an excellent plot twist the rest were pretty much routine and predictable. The ending became kind of anti climatic after we find out that Foxy`` is the killer and its merely a matter of waiting for the end and his capture.Worth a watch, even if its routine and predictable

Reasonably good, at times, very good. Some good acting and a well written script.

This is a great miniseries, but man, will it give you chills at the very end. When Billy Dee Williams--referring to the murder victims--says they're all here...this is a graveyard... it will creep the hell out of you.
