This was an entertaining series, but its treatment of the Holocaust while shocking and quite graphic was not as chilling as portrayed in `war and remembrance``. The Horrors of the Holocaust in this series seemed (to me) to antiseptic, to clean, to bright to accurately present this low point of human brutality. The ``Auschwitz`scenes in War & remembrance gave more a sense of the hopelessness, the filth & decay of Nazi atrocities. A good series with a few excellent performances form Micheal Moriarty, James Wood, Fritz Weaver and david Warner. Its well worth a watch and i do recommend it.
