an almost five. very well done mini series. excellent casting. Megan Follows is perfect as the feisty smart Anne. Colleen Dewhurst and Richard Farnsworth are terrific as the brother and sister who give Anne a home. the scenery is gorgeous where they filmed this movie. seen it a few times and never get tired of it. also great to show a movie about a girl who is smart  and is the main focus.

This is a really good movie series based on the Anne of Green Gables books. I only gave it a four because they left out some stuff from the books that I really like and moved things around....And the last movie stinks because it seems like it has no relationship with the books....at all....but, other than that, the movies are really good.
