 | Redoedo (41) 10/02/2003 | Sadly underrated. He is truly a gifted actor who just recently is beginning to get the attention that he deserves. He was hand-picked by Mel Gibson in 1992 for the role of Chuck in the powerful film, The Man Without A Face. As a child actor, Nick was probably the most talented of the whole bunch that graced the screen in the early 90s. He disappeared from the scene for the next six years, during which time he got into drugs as a teenager. When he finally cleaned himself up, he was ready to make a serious comeback in the acting world. His most powerful role was as the despicable Bobby Kent in the film Bully. Stahl's true acting ability shined through in this role- he brought so much intensity to the role. I couldn't think of a better choice for that role. More recently, Nick has graced the screen in Terminator 3 as John Connor, which was a pretty good performance. He is currently staring in the HBO series, Carnivale, in which his brilliant acting certainly steals the show. In the final analysis, Nick Stahl is one hell of an actor, and there are bright days ahead of him in Hollywood.
