11/19/2003 | Released as a single in 1974, Junior's Farm is one of McCartney's weaker solo efforts that became popular. Both the music and lyrics are overly sophomorish, though the sound did fit with one of the greatest eras of one hit wonders. Junior's Farm charted in the U.S. for 10 weeks in 1974, peaking at #3. The song has been covered at least three times: The Indicators, Galactic Cowboys, and Lee Harvey Oswald Band.
