My favorite post-Beatles hit ever, Listen To What The Man Said sounds like four minutes of rhapsody from a guy at the top of his world which McCartney undoubtedly was as nearly as can be claimed by anyone. With a simple lilting hook and beautiful melody, this song is a piece of elegance that worked its way through Paul's head and fingers like the path of least resistance to millions of us.

The single is classic, have a nice day 1970's pop, and that ain't bad. Instantly recognizable, the song is fast paced, upbeat, harmless. Listen To What The Man Said charted in the U.S. for 11 weeks in 1975, peaking at #1. Buster covered the song in 1978.
