The track features Paul's signature bridge between distinctive movements as he shifts between the uncle and admiral. "Uncle Albert/Admiral Halsey" charted in the U.S. for 12 weeks in 1971, peaking at #1. Though obviously a difficult song to cover, Freddie Hubbard, Buddy Rich, Urbie Green, and Percy Thrillington have all taken a stab at it.
