Flamenco is one of the most beautiful dances. I would love to learn this style of dance. It is such a beautiful storytelling.

Uplifting for the soul. this exquisite from of dancing indigenous to spain is a great way to keep in shape and to take one's mind off of things.

A few years back I was living in Venezuela and a friend of mine was taking a Flamenco class. She invited me to go watch her class one day, which was kind of a big deal because as it was a class run by women, for women, they typically did not let men anywhere near the dance studio. I remember vividly sitting there in a metal folding chair as 15 more or less gorgeous Venezolanas pounded away in their big shoes, and stamped out the various Flamenco rhythms. Needless to say I was somewhat intimidated / impressed.
