Six years after the relative disappointment of Gaudi (1987), Alan Parsons dropped the word project and released the much better full-length Try Anything Once in 1993. The tracks are fuller, cleaner and richer, and the single "Turn It Up" is the best of a rather strong lot. The track is relatively long (over six minutes), but the length is hardly noticed as the vocals and music crescendos up and down throughout. Fortunately, "Turn It Up" is included on many of Parsons' compilation releases.
