I don't really care for the Redskins uniform and this isn't a politically correct review on the whole Native American issue. The Indian on the helmet might as well be in a suit and tie because this uniform is incredibly stupid. I think the uniform is a bit stale and dated, and the maroon color is ugly.

Classic maroon red with the chief indian logo is a symbol of Americana since way back, still going strong.

They should wear the red jerseys at home,and yellow pants would be a bad idea to wear with the red jerseys either,but keep the red with the white ones.

Love the burgandy (supposed to be "home") jerseys. If they ever wear them on a regular basis, they would look more presentable. Classic uni's though...

The skins have one of the ugliest color schemes in the NFL - for all of you who don't know better they did not "rip off" the Seminoles helmet logo. It was the other way around. If they want a higher rating they need to go to the darker red and yellow and stick with the spear on the helmet.

Fantastic. Much better than those Florida State ripe-offs they had with Steve Spurrier. One of the best, maybe even the best helmet logo in the NFL is the redskins's indian. Quite wearing white for home though, and wear a red jersey with gold pants for home.

The helmet is awesome but the rest of the uniform is below average. They should add more gold (maybe gold pants) and put the numbers up on the shoulders rather than on the sleave. They can do alot with this classic color scheme and could possibly make the 'Skins the NFL's best dressed but they have to update everything but the helmet.

These are good, I like the helmet, but they should go back to the gold pants. I didn't like the Florida State style spear helmets.

GREAT uniform...No Doubt...but I think the burgandy helmet with the spear on it(Sonny Jergenson days)would make this uni one of the Best! Lose the white pants though...Yellow pants should be the Redskins 'staple'!

Home uniforms are among NFL's best, they should wear them more often. I don't know why they stopped wearing all white on the road.

Retro unis from 2002 were awesome(actually burgundy and gold instead of ketchup and mustard), but they won't change. Current Gibbs-era unis are lame.

I'm a diehard Redskins fan, but for the life of me I can't figure out why we don't go back to the dark burgundy unies with the spear helmet. I also like the old gold pants. I've never been a fan of the unies worn during the Joe Gibbs era.

change the helmet to the retro Florida State one and you have a 5

this is the hardest one to figure out. It needs an update. but to what? I like the 80's version yet it does not feel right in an organization thats gone through such drastic change.

Pro football is a flashy game which means I generally prefer the flashier uniforms. As a result the uniforms worn by the Washington Redskins land in the middle of my preference list. The burnt red is aggressive and attractive and fits the team's nickname, but red is also relatively common in the NFL. Moreover, the old helmets with the arrow was better than the newer circle with the Native American profile. Finally, some seem to find the nickname Redskins to be offensive. While I do not exactly understand why people take offense at this, it remains a factor in the rating.
