blue and orange are great toghether
DTOSH 08/26/2008
They should get orange pants for the blue jerseys, and just fix the stripes, and wear the blue pants on with the white jerseys. Also an orange face mask would look kool.

Growing up an Oilers fan, I always hated Elway and the Broncos for 1) Coming back and beating us in that horrific playoff win and 2) Those ugly, loud orange uniforms. I would alway get upset whenever I watched them as a kid, because their helmets didn't match there jerseys!! They were freakin ugly!!! And now the new uni's are a step up, except for that ugly orange stripe down their leg and that big ugly horse head on the helmet. They should have kept the old logo.
numbah16tdhaha 02/07/2006
I must say that I like them, but they did start the trend that gave us those ugly ass striped things like the Oregon Ducks wear, so I'm taking a star off.
hotel283 02/07/2006
yeah, the old Orange Crush jerseys were unique but I like the darker blue with the orange on the new uniforms and the logo is better. However, it was this uniform that started the trend towards full body length stripes of color on the sides of the uniforms, which is ugly.

The NFL is basically and entertainment enterprise. The name of the game for modern sports franchises is marketing. From a marketing perspective the broncos change from the orange uniforms of the 70's and 80's to the current uniforms was not done on a lark. The new uniforms (developed by Nike, Inc.) were shown to have appeal when shown market research groups and if you look closely, you'll see the Nike swoosh in the nostrils of the horse head logo and also in the pant stripes when players are in their three point stances. These uniforms sell and that's the bottom line.

go back to orange-dominant (with blue striping), and get rid of those ridiculous girly-stripes on the pants! the side-piping and numeral design on the jerseys is striking, as is the helmet's general design/striping, but the logo is too generic and the idea of a ferocious, rabid horse makes me giggle whenever i see it!
bigfootballfan 11/02/2005
Denver's uniforms are the sharpest in the league. A poll among NFL players says they're they're liked second only to the Oakland Raiders. notice how many collegiate teams now have basically the same uniform?
EverettL 09/22/2005
Sort of a complement to the Seahawks change. The Seahawks kept a cool logo, but switched to a horrid color. The Broncos' new colors are OK (a bit boring, but not hideous), but their new logo is abysmal. It looks more like a dragon than a horse. Their old logo (well, the logo of the 80's - the D with the horse in it, not the original cartoon horse) was brilliant. It was classic while still being cool. The royal blue of the old helmet was great. The new uniforms look like they're straight out of some crappy modern league with no tradition such as NFL Europe or Arena Football.
OutsideBlitz 06/17/2005
I like their current uniforms, especially the orange jersey, but I think they really should go retro. Blue helmet with the D logo with the bronco, and orange jersey. Although, I would like to see them update that logo and wear red or white pants with them.
Orville1339 02/28/2005
I loved the orange crush uniforms in the John Elway era, however, now that they've won 2 Super Bowls with these uniforms, I don't think they should change them. I loved the old bronco snorting in the big orange D on the old helmets though!
Alexg681 02/05/2005
I don't like these at all, they should have kept the old ones with the orange jerseys and blue helmets with the D and the bronco.
6079SmithW 02/03/2005
Broncos have always had the worst uniforms, from the brown and yellow vertical-striped socks to the goofy cartoon horse decal to the mismatched orange jersey/blue helmet combo to this monstrosity. Major demerits for starting the repulsive trend toward hip-to-armpit striping.
curtisnc 01/23/2005
Great logo and colors, but need to loose the hideous stripes, maybe combine elements from 60s jersey with orange as primary home color. (I'm from Denver and I hated the D)
mlarsen57 01/16/2005
The new uniforms are bad, but at least they didnt bring back the vertically striped socks from 1960.
zeus83 01/06/2005
crap and a half. almost as bad as seattle. look like they were designed for the arena football league. give me the orange crush any day. if they would use their alternate orange as their standard it would be an improvement, but they still suck.
cinehead 12/27/2004
They used to be one of my favorite teams with old uniforms - with the D on the helmet and the orange jerseys. Now they're ugly and now I hate the team.
blakkat41 12/24/2004
Who came up with the new style uniform anyway? Stunningly ugly right down to the Nike style side stripes. The old orange jerseys were traditional but perfect in their own way. The Broncos were noted for the orange tops. Maybe they could've came out with a similar blue jersey, if they were that bent on changing. The change to the current style was too radical.
Wavebacker 12/10/2004
When they changed the logo and uniforms I was skeptical, but look at them now and they're great, esp the Orange unis'. Many colleges have copies the look but the Broncos started it all.
rand1125 11/28/2004
should NEVER have changed from what was one of the ALL TIME best uniforms in the NFL. Sooo much great history with those CLASSIC Orange Crush with those Sweet D covered blue helmets...never liked the new uniforms even though they finally won a super bowl when they made the switch...Too Bad!!! Loss of an NFL Classic
SpisterMooner 10/06/2004
I don't mind the new blue, but the Broncos' signature color is supposed to be orange. I'd be happier without the stripe. I used to hate the road uniform in the past--now I think the road uniform may look better. Regardless--change to orange as dominant again!
cmacdhon 09/01/2004
I blame the Broncos for beginning this trend of teams switching to horrific uniforms. Still, they are almost tolerable when they wear white pants.
TATOOSandSCARZ 08/29/2004
I don't mind the colors hate the horses head. It looks like the one they found it that guyz bed in The Godfather Keep the colors and go back to one of the coolest emblems in NFL the D with the charging bronco in the middle.
bigjohnstud 08/20/2004
Good uniforms. Orange jersies they wore on sunday night 2 years ago vs. the colts were better than their regular blue ones. I pray to god that i never have to see their all blue ever again.
jamesfarrior 07/09/2004
go back to orange and the old blue and keep the style
Gehrig 06/19/2004
Its like the World League and USFL puked out a uniform.
newdealcowboy 05/26/2004
good change
KUKevin 05/21/2004
These uniforms have to be among the worst. They are so bad they make the old uniforms look good. The worse has to be the home pants with all of the orange on the side. The team should try the home jerseys with the road pants. That would improve the home look a ton.
CCHSColts83 05/12/2004
The Orange stripes are sharp, but I think the Broncos alternate orange jerseys are much better than the corporate dark blue look. Unfortunately, the Broncos don't wear their traditional orange jerseys enough. They should
davyd83 05/06/2004
Bring back the ORANGE CRUSH!!!
VirileVagabond 03/30/2004
Pro football is a flashy game, which means I generally prefer the flashier uniforms. As a result, the uniforms worn by the Denver Broncos rise towards the top of my preference list. The contrast between blue and orange is colorful, aggressive and instantly recognizable. Moreover, the new helmet design with the profile of a bronco's head is a definite improvement over the bronco jumping thru a big D. My only material complaint is that the colors remind me of a high school team.
glassman 11/03/2003
Man which one this team must have a dozen variations , the new logo was a huge improvement over the old one
