I prefer the blue helmets with the yellow bolts instead of the white bolts. Current helmet is fine, but not great.

Don't see what all the fuss is about the powder blue's....They were good looking but definently NOT the greatest uni's of all time! Are u serious? The chargers brand new uni's for the 07-08 season are growing on me. They have the most combination of uniforms in the entire league, past and present. So many different choices! Amazing...

I think that the powder blue throwbacks of the chargers are the best uniform in the league. The bolts should go back to them because they will always be a classic. The fans get excited when the put them on, and I don't anticipate that changing. I hate almost every teams uniforms when they try the newer style with crazy color combos and such. BRING BACK THE BOLTS THROWBACKS. CAN I GET A HELL YEAH!

Chargers are horses, not lightning bolts.

This is an excellent uniform. Dark blue jersey and helmet is tough, as is the lightning bolt. A Bengal Tiger, Viking, or Cowboy might put up a fight, but a lightning bolt will fry your ass. The way they have worked in the bolt on the pants and sleeves is slick.

I love the powder blue throwbacks. But I'm in the camp of just once or twice per year. Otherwise, their novelty will wear thin quickly.

The chargers Uni's are great -- dark Bue with the bolts. the main reason you all like the powerder blue is because of the 1994 - 1995 season when the chargers went to the superbowl. I want the chargers to look bad ass not Soft. power Blue you think the Raiders are afraid of Power Blues Hell No. The rest of the league wants the chargers ot go Powder Blue -- because its lame. Its like wearing pink... Pink is great but not for football. So lets keep the current and give the powde fans one game a year. chargers are the best!!!!!

The old AFL Charger uni's with the powder blue and with the additional white and yellow were much nicer than these new ones. The new blue is too dark to go with the yellow.

This is a very good uniform and always has been, from the original powder-blues to the royal blues of the Dan Fouts era to the current navy blue incarnation. Shoulder-stripe lightning bolts seem to have survived the disturbing sleeve trend, and the club thankfully put the 'bolts back on the pants after several years of regular striping. While everyone except Spanos clamors for the old '60s throwbacks, and rightly so, these will do just fine. (Bonus -- freehand drawing the helmet decal accurately is a fun challenge. Try it.)

I can't believe that the Chargers unis are rated this high on this site. I think they are really bad. I don't like the fact that there is very little gold anywhere on the jersey, helment or pants. I think they should do away with the navy and go to the baby blue. Also, They need to update the helmet logo. The bent lightning bolt just doesn't get it done.

I like the helmet with the bolt, but not the very dark blue they have now. They should have a regular blue helmet with a white bolt, and a regular blue jersey.

The Chargers and the Raiders have maybe the best uniforms in the NFL. The Chargers, like the Raiders, have uniforms that fit their name. The bolts are just cool and the helemts are just as great. Better still are the baby blue throwback uniforms.

Great, classic uni's and their throwbacks are still a classic as well.

Should stay with the powder blue and white helmets, best and most classic look in the NFL

Best helmet. Like the current unis as long as they ditch blue-on-blue. Powder blue retros are cool for 1-2 games a year, but not permanent.

Think the powder blue of the 60's would be a great improvement. With some teams turning to what I call college uniforms a throwback would be a change and who knows it might be a motivator like when the Bucs changed. Still need the entire team though!

if ever a town needed a little help this place would be the winner. 2 words. Complete overhaul. Quickly before the start of the 2004 season. Maybe the uniform would help you wi..... maybe not.

another positive vote for the 60's powder blue retro look, possibly the best looking uniform in nfl history. the ones they have now are average.

I find it strange that the Chargers front office has resisted returning to the sky blue jersies and white helmets. Other teams (Jets and Giants) have done it and look great. If there were ever a case for a retro look the Chargers own it.

Power blue is the only way to go.

Pro football is a flashy game which means I generally prefer the flashier uniforms. As a result the uniforms worn by the San Diego Chargers land towards the middle of my preference list. The dark blue and white uniforms are relatively classy but unimaginative, almost a poor team's version of the uniforms of the St. Louis Rams. The lightening decal on the team's helmets remind one of the St. Louis helmets as well.

I'll give a five when they switch to the powder blues and white helmet with the number on it.
