Terrific woman who influenced the movement more than she could ever have imagined. I mean, there were other black people who refused to give up their seats on the bus and were promptly censured, but Ms. Parks happened to work for Dr. King. They made the mistake of arresting her and it kicked off the whole civil rights movement of the 1960's. Sometimes it only takes one small person to take a stand against oppression in a nonviolent way, and society can change forever.

She kicked it off! A beautiful woman.

A great example of how a small person can have a big impact.

Rosa Parks is an amazing woman. I read her book and biography. She wants equality for everyone and took a stand for what she believed in. Way to go, Rosa!
