Tue May 15 2012For some reason, I always skip breakfast. Yeah, I'm one of those people. Anyway, I don't really like donuts. Occasionally, I'll go to Dunkin Donuts for a coffee if I'm out of it, but if I see a cop car there, I drive right past.

Mon May 14 2012I'm not a fan of the standard glazed doughnut. If, however, you're willing to expand the definition of doughnut to include such health disasters as maple iced Bavarian cream filled bismarks.....

Wed Dec 09 2009One of the essential building blocks of a healthy breakfast. Starts the day off right. Which might explain why I am increasingly resembling a pear.....

Sun Dec 23 2007. . . I love Dunkin' Donuts, but it's not exactly breakfast material. Any other time of day, though, I'll go for a bavarian creme donut. Or a lemon-filled. Or any type of jelly-filled. Almost any type of filled donut . . .

Sat Jul 02 2005Generally too sweet for me that early in the day, but I can handle a doughnut from time to time. Usually like them later in the day though.

Fri Jun 17 2005My personal poison. Even if I have to walk a mile to burn it off, I just can't resist temptation when it comes to doughnuts, especially the chocolate-covered ones.

Sun Oct 10 2004NO WAY would I let these fattening, greasy, empty-calorie, bagel lookalikes go to my waistline, thank you! I am sorry, but I just do not see how ANYONE can eat these.

Tue Jun 22 2004Even though I wouldn't recommend doughnuts for breakfast I've got to admit that they are rather tasty. Especially the chocalate ones that are filled with vanilla cream.

Mon Jun 21 2004The crisco in these leads to heart disease.

Tue Jun 08 2004Ewww. I don't even really like doughnuts at anytime of the day, but at breakfast, i think that i'd get sick from the sugar and fat overload, on top of that they sit like a rock in your stomach...

Mon Jun 07 2004As a breakfast food, doughnuts are the worst. Actually, they're bad for you anytime. But if you must have one (or two), promise Tawnee that you'll heed her (my) healthy eating preaches and eat something nutritious along with it. You need protein to have staying energy, and complex carbs from fiber to give you initial energy that stays. Pair that with protein and you have a good breakfast. Doughnuts are fatty, oily dough deep fried in more oil and smothered in all sorts of yummy things that'll block your arteries someday like chocolate, sugar, sprinkles, and sometimes they're even stuffed with custard, creme, and more chocolate. *gets on knees* I'm begging you! Not for breakfast!

Tue Mar 09 2004a 3.5. Of course these would not be good to have everyday. as a treat sometimes on a Sunday, we will get rolls, or doughnuts for breakfast. I know they are not nutritious but they do not hurt every now and then. Again there are a large variety to choose from.so everyone can be happy.

Sat Nov 29 2003Sweet, fried round cholesterol that is sure to make you pack on a few more pounds if you eat too many. But a lot of them are so good.
