I L-O-V-E this food! I have traveled into Thailand and must say all of the food I have tried there left me feeling extremely full and happy. The spices are amazing an explosion of sweet sour and hot spicy all at once-the differences in textures in all the dishes are strange upon first bite though I personally enjoy all of it. There is always a surprise of what the next dish will tase like and I daresay this is my most favored cultural food to this day.

I've found that the hotter it is, the better it tastes. The best Thai food is so hot that I can barely eat it.

I always prided myself in being able to stand hot food, but Thai black peppers have defeated me from time to time.

I find most Thai food to be too spicey and too pricey...didn't mean to rhyme, it just worked out that way!

The first time I ever ate this was years ago in a dive around West 14th Street in Manhattan, where the food was literally so hot that it raised a blister or 2 in my mouth (I was very young at the time and was attending some sort of Marxist meeting in the area with a friend; maybe the horrible meal was God's punishment). Needless to say, that one experience turned me off to this cuisine for years afterward. About a decade ago, a Thai place opened not far from me, and I used to bring my then-girlfriend there, as she seemed to enjoy this kind of food (matter of fact, we went there on our first date at my suggestion; I didn't want her to think I was just another meat-and-potatoes type of guy). Either it was a far better restaurant than that torture-pit on West 14th Street, or my tastes had matured with the passing years, because I found eating there a reasonably pleasurable experience, although Thai cuisine will never be on my top-10 list of favorites. A lot of chicken, coconut, and peanut sauce, it seems. You have the option of requesting that the dishes you order be made very VERY hot and spicy, or milder. I remember my long-ago blisters and tell the waiter to make mine as mild as possible. Although I'm not wildly enthusiastic about Thai food, I do love some of their desserts, particularly the sticky rice with mango, which is absolutely delicious. Bottom line? Not something I'd order as my last meal, but a nice change of pace on occasion.

For my money, it's the best food in Southeast Asia if not all of Asia. . .if you're new to Thai, pick a chicken dish and enjoy. . .the meat, veggies, and soups are good to great. . .wonderful food. . .

I really don't know what anything I ate in Thailand was called, but it was all mighty tasty. I was the only one to try the very threatening looking soup with the seafood in it and in nearly killed me with the spices in it. Two thumbs up for the wild spicy Thai food.

I really enjoy Massaman Curry, Pad Thai, Thai Iced Tea, Yum Woo Sen, their bbq chicken, black rice and coconut, sticky rice with mango, Tom Yum, Tom Kha and other dishes. Thai food rocks because it leaves a sweet, salty, sour and spicy flavor all at once on the palate. Their food is very unique and I enjoy it better than Chinese food because I find it to be healthier, more flavorful and diverse in its offerings.

Of all Asian cuisine, Thai is the best. Phad Thai is great and I love Swimming Rama (Rice, spinach leaves, chicken and peanut suace). Seattle has an abundance of Thai restaurants everywhere you look. Living in Seattle is what made Thai food grow on me. Good stuff!

My favorite type of food. Thai has become the next Chinese. Pad Thai is great, so are the Curry dishes, and Chicken in Peanut Sauce.

When it's done right, I love Thai food (My favorite Thai meal is chicken in peanut sauce with spinich and rice noodles). However, like any other kind of food, quality can vary, depending on your luck choosing restaurants. I also wonder how different the food might taste in Thailand itself? All in all, a great international cuisine.

Thai food is definitely tasty and has a selection of impressive dishes (My favourite is Pad Thai Noodles). Its extremely light and not too greasy. Near where I work theres the Thai Pavillion. The food is fresh, the staff are friendly, the atmosphere is warm and theres an intelligent balance of counterpointing flavours from their menu.

The best Thai restaurant in my town is a dirty little hole in the wall with torn menus and wobbly chairs but the place is always full, often with Asian customers. The food there is divine. Thai food is also healthy and full of flavors. I can't get enough of coconut milk, fish sauce and cilantro. Also, it's spicy enough for me.

Best food on the planet. Great flavors and very healthy. Most Thai restaurants will make dishes as spicy or mild as you like. My favorite is red curry vegetables or squid. Thai iced tea is great, too!

Seems most thai foods are too light to satisfy Ruby, and sometimes the flavors which can be so strong and tasty arrive weak and watered-down. My lack of enthusiasm for thai food may also stem from one brutal experience I had in 1998 when I ordered the Suicide Curry for take-out. My mouth was on fire (but enjoying it) the entire time, but then I wound up with terrible blisters in my mouth so that I was virtually unable to speak for a week. That's a tough horse to climb back on top....
