 | Frederick Stewart (0) 10/04/2005 | I have been using these blanks since Feb. 05 no problems so far,i have movies that were burnt on memorex+R over two years still plays great. No problems with my two burners,Pioneer 106D & Liteon 1633s,plays well on my players, old RCA,sony & Panasonic. My advice to you guys out there, update your firmware & dont be in a rush to burn, cut the speeds an extra 5 minutes will save in the long run.I burn at 4x & 2x

 | tgeorge (0) 11/24/2004 | tried ritek (ricoh jpn01-02) & had lots of bad burns. only these & tdk ALWAYS burn & are read on my 3 different playres. i use dvdxcopy, shrink/decrypter, nero & arcsoft on hp & benq burners. after ripping/producing over a hundred dvd's i do know this: different burners & players 'like' different brands of media!

 | igorunia3 (0) 09/13/2004 | I've used memorex dvd r media with plextor drive, some were not recognized, some were burned and then became unreadable at the end after some time, wobble effect, no matter at what speed I burn. I started using TDK media and problems dissapeared. Avoid memorex dvd+r at all costs, very bad product, spend $5 more and get something good.

 | joedvd (0) 08/02/2004 | I had 10 out of 10 failures using a 10-pack of Memorex DVD-R discs. After the first few fgailures I got curious and searched the web and found out that Memorex doesn't manufacture their DVD blanks. They buy from other manufacturers and have them put their name on them. I have had extremely good success with brands like Ritek and TDK. In fact the only failures I've had with these brands were due to mistakes I made when selecting options for burning in various programs. In my opinion Memorex DVDs totally suck and I will avoid them like the plague! Performance speaks for itself. Ritek works, TDK works, Memorex doesn't work. Obviously a problem with the media and not my burner.

 | princessangry (2) 07/25/2004 | Very good so far... burned like 5 sicne I got my DVD+-burner a little while ago!! but please... 2.4x drive owners.... there's a firmware update avalible at www.dvdrwservices.com to allow your burner to support 4x discs... lots of people will return discs all you've got to do is update your drive... the firmware update wont make your dive faster.. it simply allows it to support your new discs. thanks!

 | kiwee (0) 05/16/2004 | I have used the Memorex DVD-R, DVD-RW and DVD+RW without a single problem on a NEC ND-2500A sold under the Pacific Digital brand name. Also, these disc play well in an old Sharp set-top DVD player.
